Helping You is My Mission
I began with a mission to help women break out of money vagueness, denial, shame, embarrassment and fear after seeing too many clients and colleagues live through money horror stories.
My goal is to help women learn money self-care and have their own wealth, independence, choices, and control over their lives. As my Financial Coaching business grew, I began expanding my knowledge on the money psychology side, training with Psychotherapist & Founder of MoneyHarmony Olivia Mellan (see my bio for more information on her).
Then, I met Psychologist Dr. April Benson Ph.D. We have become not only colleagues but friends. We actually live within 10 minutes of each other, which suggests the universe clearly conspired to bring us together.
Dr. Benson and I realized that the intersection of deep financial work with a proven compulsive shopping program could benefit clients. There is indeed a powerful, effective synergy in combining therapy with financial acumen. I had the privilege of coaching clients under 14 months of clinical supervision by April. I now run my own firm Behavioral Cents, LLC and operate as CEO of Stopping Overshopping. Helping women gives me great joy.
